The tree came down in Ryelands Street
A TREE narrowly avoided parked cars after coming down in a Hereford residential street today.
The tree came down in Ryelands Street at around 11am this morning after winds from Storm Francis battered the county.
One resident, who asked not to be named, who had popped to Sainsbury's when the tree came down outside her house and where she usually parks her car.
A Balfour Beatty van which was in the area helped the woman to access her property.
A tree has fallen over in Ryelands Street and taken out the power line, nobody hurt & a resident has phoned the emergency services. Best to avoid for now!@YourHereford1 @herefordtimes @HerefordVoice pic.twitter.com/YbGw4Vv0rH
