A ZEBRA crossing is being installed on Station Road, Pershore.
Ongoing work on the road will last until September 24 and include kerbing, road surfacing, road markings and street lighting.
This crossing is part of a group of five new crossings in Worcestershire which have been installed over the summer.
Councillor Alan Amos, Worcestershire County Council's Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Highways, said: "It’s great that we’re now in a position to get these crossings installed across the county over the next few months."
“We have been made aware by the local communities in each of these areas of the need for new road crossings, to improve safety and access to local services and it’s important that we act on this local knowledge.”
