A PLAN to build 65 homes in Honeybourne looks set to be approved when councillors meet next week despite flooding fears.
The homes would be built on land off Stratford Road in Honeybourne but residents have raised concerns over regular flooding in the area.
A total of 23 objections were made against the plan during public consultation with objectors largely concerned by flooding.
Honeybourne Parish Council also objected to the plan over flooding fears, overdevelopment and the ‘excessive’ amount of affordable housing.
Wychavon District Council officers have recommended the plan by Rosconn Strategic Land should be approved by the planning committee.
Councillors meet from 2pm next Thursday (October 15).
