BRAVE charity supporters took to the skies and took part in a parachute jump in aid of a Worcester charity.

Jumping from a height of 12,500ft and reaching up to 120mph, 10 people plunged from the sky to raise money for Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust.

The jump took place on Saturday, October 10 and so far the team has raised nearly £8,000 for the charity.

Michelle Nolan, charity engagement co-ordinator for the charity and also one of the parachute jumpers on the day has said: “I never thought I would do a sky dive, but as more and more people signed up and the excitement grew I wanted to get involved and be part of the team.

"It really has been great fun from start to finish, supporting each sky diver individually and on the day.

"I can honestly say doing the sky dive is one of the best challenges I have ever done. I want to do it again!

"We would like to say a huge thank you to the nine supporters that took part, raising such an incredible amount of money doing something we all absolutely loved doing is just an amazing feeling.

"The money raised will go directly towards the work of the GKCCT helping us to fight against childhood cancer."

The next group sky dive event is planned for June 19, 2021, if you would like to find out more then please do get in touch t: 01905 885777 e: contact@gkcct.org or visit our website https://www.gkcct.org/sky-dive-gkcct
