The Evesham Rotary Tree of Light campaign 2020 is officially open to the public for donations, providing an opportunity to remember loved ones at Christmas, and to support charities.

The Rotary Club of Evesham has been raising funds for charities and good causes for many years and are now again looking for the support of the people of Evesham and the Vale for the 2020 Tree of Light campaign.

The Tree of Light is a special way to remember loved ones and by contributing you will be helping others.

Contributions over the years have enabled the club to put around £230,000 back into the community through donations to charitable organisations.

This year, the club hopes to help support charitable organisations which have suffered as a result of Covid 19 and would invite charities to contact us on 07764 528044.

A list of all the causes supported will be available on the club's website.

The lights will be switched on, on Thursday, December 6 2020 at 6.30pm but, in view of the latest Covid restrictions, this will not be a live event but will be displayed online and on the Rotary club's Facebook page.

If you would like to help, please fill in the form or visit therotaryclubofevesham.org.uk and go to the Tree of Light page.

Donors will be thanked with a personal card. The names of those people remembered will be published in the Evesham Journal, on the Rotary club's website and in a Tree of Light Book of Remembrance which will be displayed in the town library.
