THERE have been no coronavirus related deaths recorded at Worcestershire hospitals for five days in a row, NHS figures show.

The latest NHS England daily figures show there have been no further deaths recorded in the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust for the 24 hours up to October 29.

The figure remains at 290 deaths.

The number of deaths at the Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust also remained at 29.

This means there have been 319 recorded deaths in Worcestershire's hospitals and at least 544 in all settings across the county.

The acute hospital trust covers Worcestershire Royal Hospital, Evesham Community Hospital as well as the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch and Kidderminster Hospital.

The health and care NHS trust covers community hospitals and rehabilitation wards, including Worcester City Impatient Unit, Malvern Community Hospital, Evesham Community Hospital, Pershore Community Hospital, the Princess of Wales Community Hospital in Bromsgrove, Tenbury Community Hospital and the Wyre Forest Ward.
