POLICE have said a man who was stabbed in Evesham remains in a stable condition.

The victim was airlifted to hospital after being stabbed multiple times in Woodlands, Evesham, on Thursday, (November 19).

Detective Inspector Tony Garner said: “The victim, a 44-year-old man from Evesham, was airlifted to hospital and remains in a stable condition.

“Officers remain in the area and additional patrols are being carried out to offer reassurance to the local community.

"The incident is believed to be isolated with no risk to the wider public. If anyone was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious, we would ask them to get in contact with us.”
