HEAVY rain on Friday night has once again caused flooding in parts of the county.
The Waterside in Evesham closed last night and flood warnings remain in place in the area with many surrounding roads currently flooded.
A flood warning is also in place for Harvington and Offenham with water levels predicted to rise at the Bidford-On-Avon river gauge.
Jubilee bridge in Fladbury and Brook Lane in Cropthorne are also closed.
Elsewhere in the county, the council’s flood alleviation schemes at New Road in Worcester and the A4104 in Upton have kept these key routes open to traffic, although flood warnings are in place at Pitchcroft, the Barbourne river gauge and in Upton upon Severn, meaning immediate action is required.
