FOUR more roads in Worcestershire have reopened after problems caused by flooding.
Normal service has resumed for motorists using Church Lane and Ham Lane in Severn Stoke, New Street in Upton and Shell Ford to the east of Droitwich.
There were many road closures put in place across the county when Storm Darcy hit, leaving areas alongside the River Severn under water with problems also caused alongside the River Avon.
Worcestershire’s only flood alert – where the public is encouraged to “be prepared” – is to the south east of Worcester, on the River Windrush heading into the Cotswolds.
“Further property flooding is not currently expected,” confirmed a Flood Warning Information Service statement, despite the fact “water levels remain sensitive to further rainfall”.
The only water currently causing problems on roads in the region is from the burst main on Swan Lane, Evesham.
