THERE have been no new recorded coronavirus related deaths across Worcestershire's hospitals for a third day in a row.

The latest figures, announced by the NHS today (April 4), shows no new Covid-19 related deaths in the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, so its total remains at 799.

And there are no newly recorded deaths at Worcestershire Heath and Care NHS Trust, with its total remaining at 63.

The total number of coronavirus related deaths in Worcestershire hospitals therefore remains at 862.

In all settings, which includes care homes and hospices, there have been 1,339 deaths.

The latest figures relate to new deaths being announced and are accurate as of 5pm the previous day.

The Acute Hospitals Trust covers Worcestershire Royal Hospital, as well as the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch and Kidderminster Hospital.

The Health and Care NHS trust covers community hospitals and rehabilitation wards, including Worcester City Impatient Unit, Malvern Community Hospital, Evesham Community Hospital, Pershore Community Hospital, the Princess of Wales Community Hospital in Bromsgrove, Tenbury Community Hospital and the Wyre Forest Ward.
