EMERGENCY services have rushed to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on the M42 near Redditch.
Lanes between Junction 2 and Junction 1 were closed and there was approximately 3.5 miles of congestion following the collision.
The collision has now been cleared and all lanes are now open.
A spokesperson from West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a collision involving two cars and a lorry near to junction two of the M42 on the southbound carriageway at 12.35pm.
"One ambulance a paramedic officer attended the scene.
"On arrival we discovered two patients both of whom were assessed and discharged at the scene."
