JEWELLERY, 12 gallons of diesel, tractor batteries and a vacuum cleaner are among the items stolen from the outskirts of Worcester.

The list has been put out as part of regular updates from Pershore Town and Rural Safer Neighbourhood Teams with an appeal to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you have any information.

1. Residential burglary

CROOME ROAD, BESFORD

Between 6pm on Thursday, July 22 and 9am on Friday, July 23, thieves attempted to steal the battery from a lorry whilst parked in the yard.

They have also accessed the diesel tank and have broken the cap to the tank. It was later discovered that they have stolen 12 gallons of diesel and have also unbolted and stolen the winch from the lorry.

2. Theft

CROOME ROAD, BESFORD.

Following on from the burglary, the owner found that four batteries have been stolen from tractors in the barn.

3. Residential burglary

RADFORD ROAD, FLYFORD FLAVELL.

Between 7.30am and 6.40pm on Tuesday, July 27, there was a break in. It is not known what has been stolen.

4. Residential burglary

HATFIELD LANE, NORTON, WORCESTER.

During the day on Tuesday (July 27) whilst the owner was at work, the property was broken into. They appear to have taken jewellery. It is not known what exactly has been stolen.

5. Theft

HAREWELL LANE, BESFORD.

In the early hours of Thursday morning (July 29), a caravan was broken into whilst parked on the driveway to the property.

The legs have been lifted and the front windows forced open to gain access. Once inside, a handheld Dyson vacuum, inflatable paddle ball, two single sleeping bags, an awning, a couple of waterproof coats and a bag of bedding from the front seat were taken.
