BACK to school shopping...this sentence alone is enough to conjure up terrifying images of crowded supermarket aisles packed with frantic parents and tired children fighting over that last pair of polos shirts, but what if there was an easier way?

Instead of traipsing all over town for the best prices on cardigans and trousers, find out exactly where to get the cheapest uniform with our handy guide.

We have done (some of) the hard work for you and put together a list of all the supermarkets near you that stock uniform at prices which are bound to make you smile.

First up is Aldi, offering a full uniform for £4.50. This price includes two polo shirts, one jumper and a skirt or pair of trousers.

Lidl is also offering an impressive £4.50 bundle for a full uniform, this one includes one polo shirt, one jumper and either a skirt or pair of trousers.

The third best value uniform comes from Asda with prices for two full uniforms beginning at £12.50. For this low price you can pick up two polo shirts, two jumpers or cardigans and two skirts or two pairs of trousers.

Tesco is also offering a £12.50 uniform, which includes two polo shirts, two jumpers, and two skirts or two pairs of trousers, although parents will have to fork out an extra £2 for a two pack of cardigans.

Last on the list is Sainsbury's, although the most expensive on our list, the uniform is still very reasonable.

Parents can pick up a three pack of polo shirts, two skirts or two pairs of trousers and two jumpers for £14.50.
