A COTSWOLDS care home has earned a nomination for a national gong have scooped its regional prize.
Mill House in Chipping Campden topped the list of 10 nominated homes from across Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, the West Midlands and the Cotswolds in the wellbeing and activities category in the Great British Care Awards and now progress to the nationals at the end of this month (September).
Paul Dixon, hospitality and activities manager at Mill House, said: “We were delighted to be chosen as overall winners.
“Activities and mental stimulation in care homes is vital to each individual's wellbeing and prevents boredom and depression and promotes wellbeing, so this is an important award to us.”
