A POPULAR village photography club is holding its first monthly meeting since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Birlingham Photography Club members will meet at Birlingham village hall tomorrow evening (Tuesday, September 7) fora gathering which includes a presentation by one of the county’s best-known wildlife photographers, Paul Lloyd.

Organiser Angela Fitch said: “Undoubtedly it’s been a long haul over the past year or so for everyone, but we feel that providing we take things carefully it’s time to return to our regular meetings, which are always packed with all things photography.

“Our venue is Covid-19 secure so members and guests can be confident that all of the guidance is adhered to.

“Paul, our September speaker will talk about wildlife photography, whether in the back garden, local park or something much more exotic.

“Sharing his expert knowledge, gained over many years, he will explain how we can use whatever camera we have to hand, ranging from a humble phone camera to the latest thing produced by the big names.

“There is something for everyone at BPC and I hope that members both old and new will join us for a relaxed evening among friends.”

Birlingham Photography Club meets on the first Tuesday of the month, from 7pm-8.30pm, price £4. Everyone, no matter what standard of photography they aspire to, is welcome.
