A GIRL was taken to hospital after being hit by a car outside of a supermarket.
The 11-year-old child was hit by the car on Windermere Drive in Blackpole yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said they were called to the scene near Sainsbury's supermarket at 4pm.
They sent an ambulance and treated the girl for injuries which were not believed to be serious.
She was then taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital with a suspected fractured ankle and minor injuries.
