A 37-year-old who 'walked naked into a Worcester takeaway' in the hope of getting 'free food' is also facing a sex assault charge, a court heard.

Kieran Ridley of London Road, Worcester did not enter pleas to charges of attempted sexual assault of a male, sexual assault on a male and outraging public decency when he appeared before Worcester magistrates on Thursday.

The offences are all alleged to have taken place on May 8 this year in Worcester. No pleas were entered at the hearing as an adjournment was ordered by the bench.

A charge of outraging public decency states that Ridley is accused of 'behaving in an indecent manner, namely entered a takeaway naked'.

Melanie Winterflood, prosecuting, said the case was that Ridley had 'gone into a Chinese takeaway completely naked under the belief that, if he does that, he might get free food'.
