BOOSTER jabs in Worcester proved so popular at a walk-in vaccination centre in Worcester that people hoping to get immunised were turned away today.
The run on Covid-19 vaccines meant that people were advised not to come to the walk-in clinic at St Peter's Baptist Church earlier today as it had reached 'full capacity'.
A spokesperson for SW Healthcare - South Worcestershire GP Federation wrote: "We've seen a large (and early!) turnout for our 9-11:30 walk-in session at St Peter's Baptist Church, Worcester today, so we are unfortunately at full capacity - so please don't travel to this site this morning for a walk-in appointment.
As a reminder, please check the tracker before you leave for a walk-in session to avoid disappointment.
"We're widening our booking availability next week, and our colleagues at PCNs across the county will be continuing to offer walk-in clinics - so keep an eye on the page, and our profile here, which we'll update with any announced sessions."
