EASTENDERS legend Shaun Williamson - aka Barry Evans - will be appearing at a popular event in Worcestershire.

Actor Shaun Williamson will be appearing at Sunshine Festival 2022 over August Bank Holiday.

The EastEnders favourite will be bringing his popular Barrioke back to the festival at Fish Meadow in Upton-upon-Severn.

Sunshine Festival organisers said they booked him after massive demand from festival goers asking for him to return after a previous appearance.

Barrioke is described by promoters saying: "There are icons of silver screen, there are Oscar winners, Bafta winners and Golden Globe winners, but are there any of these global stars that you would rather sing with on stage than the coolest man of TV - Shaun Williamson."

As well as the soap EastEnders, Shaun starred in Extras and Life’s Too Short with Ricky Gervais.

He has now taken the music festival scene by storm, bringing Barrioke to thousands of music lovers not only at Sunshine but also to Truck and YNot Festivals.

Shaun hosts the event with his usual trademark warmth and teasing banter, accompanying participants on stage and creating a riotous, joyous moment.

Sunshine Festival 2022 runs from August 26 to August 29.
