The Vale Golf and Country Club has welcomed three new captains.
The Seniors Section is now captained by Brian Bunn, who had a successful drive-in day despite poor weather conditions.
His drive was followed by the 2021 trophy presentation and a Christmas lunch.
It was also announced that next year’s three captains charity will be Myeloma UK, with over £2,000 already raised by way of a £1,050 donation and various raffles at the three captains drive ins.
Meanwhile, the Ladies Section saw captain of two years, Jill Millard, hand the reins over to Jan Ledbury.
Jan has been captain before and enjoyed it so much she has decided to take on the challenge once more.
In November, the outgoing captain presented Jan with the Captain’s brooch before her drive-in celebration the following week.
