A WORCESTER-born television star is on the latest series of Celebrity Coach Trip led by tour guide and host Brendan Sheerin.

Drag Race UK star Ginny Lemon has a seat on the coach teaming up with fellow Drag Race star Sister Sister.

But when it came to last night's vote the pair felt the force of one actor's anger after nominating him.

Fans watched as the pair joined celebrities including actresses Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph, actor Paul Danan and Geordie Shore stars Sophie Kasaei and James Tindale.

The Channel 4 show was in Braga, Portugal when the Worcester star joined the coach trip.

Tour guide Brendan hinted at Ginny's arrival by saying he was going to add "a little bit of zest to the coach".

Drag Race icon Ginny joked they would be bringing "sandwiches" to Coach Trip adding that their style was "very glamour nanas on holiday".

The fellow celebrities seemed very taken with the pair with Linda Robson saying they needed a bit of glamour and Lesley Joseph adding "We needed someone to show us how to dress".

Explaining who they were to the other celebs, Ginny said: "Hiya babs, it's me, it's Ginny Lemon fancy a slice? I'm 17 and from Worcester like the sauce."

The coach was making its journey to Póvoa de Varzim in Portugal where the celebs enjoyed being pulled along by jet skies while on inflatables.

Last night (Wednesday) the pair could not be voted out as they had immunity but voted for Paul Danan and Olympian Ashley MacKenzie.

Ginny said: "The last activity was a bit chaotic and I think we're all chaotic individuals in that situation so it was nothing personal I think we all went a bit mad as opposed to working together as a team."

Paul Danan did not take too kindly to the nomination, swearing and looking agitated as Ginny explained they did not like voting.

The Hollyoaks actor said: "I think its a load of **** man. What a cop out. Just be honest" as the other celebrities looked on awkwardly.

Ginny added: "We had a chat and we thought you'd take it a little bit better than you are."

Paul replied: "Well you don't know us, how do you know we're going to take it better than we are?"

However, the other celebrities felt the reaction was uncalled for and tried to comfort Ginny and Sister Sister.

Ginny appeared on series two of Drag Race UK and also auditioned for the X Factor back in 2017 leaving judges open-mouthed with their performance of Liberty X's Just A Little.

Fans have been able to see Ginny's Queen of their Hometown costume in all of its glory at Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum.

Ginny donated the costume to Museums Worcestershire which celebrates two of Worcester’s most famous exports – music hall star Vesta Tilley and Worcestershire Sauce.

Ginny Lemon’s Queen of their Hometown costume is on display at Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum until January 2022.

Afterwards it will move to the new exhibition Captivating Costume: Three Centuries of Fashion at Worcestershire County Museum at Hartlebury Castle.

Celebrity Coach Trip continues on Channel 4 at 8pm.
