Emergency services rushed to the scene after a car crash in Evesham last night.

Police, ambulance and fire services were called to the scene following a collision between two vehicles shortly after 8pm.

Fire crews had to ensure the vehicles, a Vauxhall Astra and a Range Rover, were safe before removing them from the road.

Three people, two women and a man, were involved in the crash but no one was seriously injured.

A spokesman of Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: “A HWFRS crew from Evesham Fire Station was called at 20:22 on 20 February to make vehicles safe after an RTC in Offenham Road, Evesham.

“Two vehicles were removed from the carriageway and made safe by fire service personnel. Three casualties, two female and one male, were left to the care of the ambulance service. The incident was marked as closed at 21:09.”

A West Midlands Ambulance spokesman added: “We were called to reports of an RTC on Offenham Road, Evesham at 8.23pm last night. One ambulance attended the scene. One patient was assessed and discharged.”

West Mercia Police confirmed that the road was blocked as a result of the crash.

A spokesman said: “At about 8.15pm on Sunday 20 February we were informed of a two vehicle collision on Offenham Road, Evesham involving a Range Rover and a Vauxhall Astra.

“No-one was seriously injured. The road was blocked for a short time.”
