THE owner of a Moreton based business will not be appearing in episode two of Gordon Ramsay's new TV show after being eliminated in episode one.

Vincenzo Gentile, co-founder of the Smokin' Brothers brand, was booted off of the show after his team failed the first task. 

Mr Gentile said: "The dynamics of a TV show are very different to real life business situations.

"Being an entrepreneur means taking risks, but maybe playing it safe would have been best in my case. However, I am proud that I remained true to myself and acted boldly.

"I would not change anything.

"Valentina was my favourite part of the show, she is funny and entertaining.

"I also loved Amit’s facial expressions!"

In episode one, Ramsay tasked the contestants with creatign a dish to sell on the beach in Cornwall. 

Mr Gentile's team decided on tacos and he came up wiht the idea of a monkfish taco.

However, in taking on the role of team leader and delegating the preparaion of the monkfish, the teams tacos landed them as the worst team that week and Mr Gentile was ultimately eliminated.

He added: "I am sorry I wasn’t able to show my real business skills on camera but here will be plenty more opportunities for that in the near future.

"Smokin’ Brothers is only just getting started."

Despite Mr Gentile beign unable to appear on our screens again, Amit Panwar, a Malvern business owner, made it through to episode two and will be competing again for the chance to win a £150,000 investment ffrom Gordon Ramsay. 

Mr Gentile was competing for an investment into his business Smon' Brothers which produces and sells smoked salmon.
