WORCESTERSHIRE residents are set to take part in the next big switch off later this week, protesting energy bills.
County residents joined thousands nationally when the protest was held on Sunday night, (April 10).
The protest saw people switch off everything in their home and unplug electical appliances at 10pm for 10 minutes.
The aim of the mass blackout is to cause disruption to the National Grid.
When is the next Big Power Switch Off?
The next Big Power Switch Off has been organised for 7pm this Saturday (April 16).
There have been calls to do the switch off every weekend as part of a bigger campaign.
