A local travel agent has revealed some of the best holiday destinations being booked by Worcester residents for this summer.
The travel agent arrangeMYescape is based in Mealcheapen Street in Worcester.
General manager Jennifer Lynch said: "We have a very eclectic mix of destinations and enquiries in Worcestershire.
"But our top selling destinations for the past three months have been the Caribbean including (Mexico and Jamaica), Florida, Dubai, Greece, Cyprus and cruising.
"We have seen a huge increase in family bookings that include extended family members such as grandparents, aunts and uncles and groups of friends.
"Our couples have been spending more and upgrading flights to premium and business class.
"After the last two years, we are finding everyone wants to make their trips an extra bit special."
Jennifer also revealed one of her favourite places to recommend.
She said: "Canada has wide open spaces, amazing food and culture. Canada is one of our favourite destinations.
"Our top recommendation is a trip on the Rocky Mountaineer followed by an Alaskan Cruise.
"River cruising is one of the best ways to visit multiple cities in some amazing places the luxury way.
"A trip up the Douro in Portugal, with wine tasting and beautiful views, or discovering the history along the Danube visiting places like Vienna and Budapest is also recommended."
The travel agency was named as the UK & Ireland’s No.1 Travel Agency as part of the TTG Top 50 Travel Agencies of 2022.
