A MAN has been arrested and released on bail after "distraction type burglaries" in the Vale of Evesham.
The news of the man's arrest was shared on the West Mercia Police website, Neighbourhood Matters on Monday, May 3.
A post from PC Phoebe Attwood said: "Members of the team have located and arrested a male responsible for recent distraction type burglaries in Evesham and Broadway."
West Mercia Police confirmed that the man has since been released on bail as investigations continue.

Police also confirmed that the arrest was not in relation to another recent distraction theft near Evesham, where an 87-year-old man had his watch stolen.
West Mercia Police shared that they will be sharing updates as they become available.
