A WW2 relic car and hazardous gas cylinders were inside a garage which was on fire.

Herefordshire and Worcestershire sent multiple crews across the border to fight the fire in Bredon.

Crews from Evesham, Upton and Cheltenham all attended the fire at a property on Cheltenham Road.

West Mercia Police were also in attendance for traffic management on Cheltenham Road.

A Hereford and Worcester spokesperson said: "We received the call at 5.30pm yesterday evening regarding a garage fire in Bredon.

"We sent two of our crews from Evesham, and another crew from Upton, which were assisted by a further two crews from Cheltenham.

"A 4x8 metre garage had caught fire, with a WW2 replica jeep inside, as well butane gas cylinders.

"The fire was extinguished using two hose reel jets connected to a fire hydrant and the hazards were safely removed.

"There was also a presence of asbestos in the garage.

"We left the scene at 7.57pm."
