Patricia Smith has been sentenced after stealing more than £70 worth of groceries from a Morrisons in Kent
A thief who stole from a supermarket has been sentenced.
Patricia Smith, of the Hipton Hill Caravan Site in Lenchwick, stole £71.33 worth of groceries from a Morrisons in Maidstone, Kent, on November 9 of last year.
Smith, 43, pleaded guilty to the theft on May 5, 2022, at Medway Magistrates Court.
She was subsequently discharged conditionally for 12 months.
She must also pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £22 as well as £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Smith will have to pay £20 per month, beginning June 2.
