Burglars have stolen antique furniture and an oil painting from a home while their victims slept.
The burglary happened overnight in Upper End, near Pershore, while the occupants of the house - who are in their 90s - were in bed.
Pieces of antique furniture, silver and an oil painting were taken, police believe, between 9pm yesterday (Monday, May 16) and 12.30am on Tuesday (May 17).
Detectives are investigating and are asking for anyone who may have seen the burglars to get in touch.
“If you noticed any suspicious people or vehicles in the area, or have any information please contact us,” said a spokesperson for West Mercia Police.
“Alternatively, you can speak 100% anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
“They will never ask for your details and they cannot trace your IP address.”
