A police drugs bust uncovered 150 cannabis plants worth more than £100,000.

Gloucestershire Constabulary carried out a drugs warrant after intelligence was gathered about suspicious activity at a property in Tewkesbury.

Upon entry to the house on Thursday May 19, officers discovered a cannabis grow spanning two floors, with an estimated street value of £125,000.

Marjus Metra, aged 23 and of Neville Road in Tewkesbury, was subsequently charged with cultivating the class B drug and using electricity without authority.

He was then remanded in custody and was due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on Friday, May 20.

Now, police are asking anyone who suspects drug dealing or suspicious activity taking place to report it.
