THREATENING Facebook messages have landed a Bretforton man a restraining order.
Wayne Recardo, 46, was charged with sending Facebook messages to a youth with the purpose of causing distress or anxiety between August 16 and 19 last year.
Recardo indicated a plea of guilty at Worcester Justice Centre on Thursday, June 16.
He was subsequently handed a restraining order, banning him from contacting the youth directly or indirectly by any means.
The order lasts until June 15, 2024.
Recardo, of Holly Close in Bretforton, was also fined £200.
He will also have to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £34 and costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £185.
He must pay the full amount of £419 by July 14 of this year.
