A popular family attraction is looking for support after it announced plans to leave the county.

All Things Wild announced earlier this year that it would be leaving Honeybourne to move to Stratford-upon-Avon.

Now, the wildlife park is looking to drum up support for the decision by launching a new website.

“As we have released details of our planned move to Stratford-Upon-Avon, we have been inundated with messages of support for the future of All Things Wild,” said a spokesperson.

“We enjoy being part of the community in Honeybourne and will be sad to go, but we look forward to bringing our staff with us and welcoming our visitors to our new site that is only nine miles from our current site.”

The website, supportallthingswild.co.uk, allows visitors to show their support for the move by signing up.

An amphitheatre, two tobogganing slopes, improved animal enclosures and a Walk Through Time Dinosaur exhibit are some of the attractions that will open at the new site, at Willicote Farm.

The move will also create 55 new jobs in the first two years and boost the park’s conservation efforts, beginning with a Great Crested Newt habitat.

The spokesperson added: “We have loved our time in Honeybourne, but in order to grow we need to move to a new, larger site.

“We are unable to accommodate more visitors in Honeybourne, and we have plans to develop larger, more naturalistic habitats for our much-loved animals who will be making the move with us.

“We will also be bringing in some exciting new animals, and we are ensuring we have enough space to grow and develop in the future.

“We will be expanding our education provision and will welcome more school groups than ever before, as well as upping our involvement in conservation projects, on-site, locally, and globally.

“These things are only possible if we have more space and a larger operation.”

A planning application for the development has now been submitted and the move is planned to begin in 2023.

The relocation and expansion will be carried out in phases with an opening date due to be announced later this year.
