A WORCESTERSHIRE pop star is performing at the Euros Final at Wembley Stadium this evening.

Becky Hill, originally of Bewdley, will be taking the stage at Wembley to pump up the crowd as the Lionesses prepare to take on Germany.

She shared with her 351,000 followers on Instagram yesterday that she was rehearsing for the big performance.

She said: "Rehearsals for the Women's Euros 2022 final at Wembley Stadium this Sunday are underway.

"I can’t wait to perform here and warm up the crowd in the stadium and at home for this incredible moment in history."

She will be accompanied by Stefflon Don and Ultra Nate for the pre-match show, which is being sponsored by Pepsi Max.

Guy-Laurent Epstein, UEFA Marketing Director, said: "We are excited to be collaborating again with our long-standing partners Pepsi MAX for the first ever UEFA Women's EURO Final Show.

"Becky Hill is such a talented performer and artist and has an incredible set lined up from start to finish; we know she will bring together fans everywhere to mark the historic occasion.

"This is a huge year for the women's sporting world and it felt only right for Pepsi MAX and UEFA to create the biggest production ever held at the tournament. Fans are in for a special night of entertainment."

England’s highly-anticipated clash against Germany is expected to draw in the biggest home TV audience on record for a women’s football match.

Some 90,000 fans are due to fill Wembley Stadium, while millions more watch from homes, pubs and fan zones.

The record number of UK viewers for a women’s game is nine million, which was set during England’s semi-final defeat by the United States in the 2019 World Cup, according to the ratings organisation Barb.

Ahead of the 5pm kick-off on Sunday, an all-female RAF flypast will also take to the skies.

Becky Hill has been making dance music for the last 8 years and has 21,918,967 listeners a month on Spotify.

She first rose to fame by appearing on BBC's The Voice, where she featured in the first series in 2012.

She was a part of Jessie J's team, reaching the semi-final before she was eliminated.
