POLICE arrested a cocaine-positive driver for multiple offences after failing to stop near Evesham.

West Mercia Police's Operations Patrol Unit shared that they were aiding Gloucestershire Police in Tuesday in Bishop's Cleeve.

The Mazda driver, who was involved in acquisitive crime, failed to stop for police, and eventually gave up and was arrested for numerous driving and document offences.

He also had a warrant for his arrest from Kent Police.

Pictures shared on social media show the car as well as police vehicles, and an accompanying drug test which reads as positive for cocaine.
