A Worcestershire MP has released a message of condolence in light of the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

MP Nigel Huddleston said: "Yesterday, we lost our beloved Monarch, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

"On behalf of all of my constituents, I wish to express my deepest condolences to the entire Royal Family at this incredibly difficult time.

"During her seventy-year reign, the Queen touched the lives of millions of people in this country and around the world.

"We are incredibly grateful for her decades of devoted service to us, her people.

"She epitomised duty, dignity and grace. 

"I know that many of my constituents will want to come together in this moment of sadness and pay their respects to our queen.

"Further guidance on arrangements nationwide will be issued by the palace in due course.
