An Evesham man accused of stalking has been banned from a doctor's surgery.

Khalid Abdullah, 40, is due in court later this month after allegedly stalking a woman.

Abdullah, of Northwick Road, is alleged to have repeatedly walked past the woman’s house, repeatedly looked into her property or garden, and attempted to make unwanted conversation with her.

As a result, an application for a stalking protection order was filed against him.

He was originally due to appear at Worcester Justice Centre on Monday, October 3.

However, the case was adjourned until Tuesday, October 18, as an interpreter was required

In the meantime, an interim stalking protection order has been made for 14 days or until the final determination of the application.

The temporary order prevents Abdullah from contacting, approaching or following the alleged victim in any way.

He is also banned from entering Cowl Street and Amplett Court of Evesham, as well as being at the back of Pound Plus on Bridge Street, unless using the toilet at the back of the premises.

He is also prohibited from attending or loitering outside DeMontfort Medical Centre, except for pre-arranged medical appointments, and cannot arrive more than five minutes before any appointment and must leave immediately after.
