A headteacher has paid tribute to a former pupil found dead in a river.
Debbie West, headteacher at Bredon Hill Academy, has shared her condolences after a body believed to be that of 25-year-old Harry Hall-Roberts was recovered from the River Avon.
A former pupil of the school on Elmley Road, Harry had been missing since last Friday
Miss West said: “We are all deeply saddened to hear the news that one of our former students recently lost their life.
“Every pupil who attends Bredon Hill Academy and formerly Bredon Hill Middle School remains a part of our local school community and our thoughts and sympathies are with Harry's family and friends at this very sad time.”

Harry had not been seen since Friday, November 11.
West Mercia Police launched a public appeal on Tuesday as they sent specialist search and rescue teams to Evesham after finding his car.
At around 10.10 am on Wednesday, November 16, a body was discovered near Waterside in Evesham.

While formal identification has not yet taken place, police say they believe it to be Harry and his family have been informed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
