A STALKER has been banned from an Evesham doctor's surgery for five years.
Khalid Abdullah, 40, has been handed a stalking protection order after repeatedly visiting a woman's home.
Abdullah, of Northwick Road in Evesham, is understood to have also repeatedly looked into the victim's home and garden and to have attempted to make unwanted conversation with her.
The stalking protection order prohibits Abdullah from approaching or contacting the victim, either directly or indirectly.
He must also not approach or loiter outside any place where he knows the victim to be living or staying and must not follow or monitor the movement of the victim in any way.
The order also bans Abdullah from visiting or loitering outside DeMontfort Medical Centre, on Burford Road, except for when attending pre-arrange medical appointments.
When attending such appointments he must not arrive more than five minutes before and must leave immediately after.
These restrictions will remain in place for five years.
Failure to comply with any term of the order is a criminal offence, for which Abdullah could be sentenced to prison or detention.
Despite Abdullah's opposition back in May, the order was made by magistrates at Worcester Justice Centre on October 18, 2022.
