A MAN has been seriously hurt after his car came off the road near Evesham.

Police were called to a crash on Badsey Lane in the early hours of this morning.

Officers discovered a black Volvo had left the road, when they arrived at around 1am on Wednesday.

One of the occupants of the car, a man in his 30s, was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham with “serious injuries”.

He remains in the hospital and his next of kin has been informed.

Gloucestershire police are now appealing for witnesses to the crash, which happened between the villages of Badsey and Willersey.

Officers from the force’s road policing unit would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage and hasn’t already been in touch.
