Police have confirmed why the main road through a Vale village has been shut.
Evesham Road in Cleeve Prior has been closed while officers work to recover "suspected stolen property".
West Mercia Police has warned that the closure may be in place for "some time".
Motorists are being advised to avoid the road for the time being.
