A DRIVER has been arrested after a car travelling with an "unrestrained child" was stopped by police.

Pershore Safer Neighbourhood Team pulled over a car on Broad Street after noticing a child without a restraint in the vehicle.

It was found that there was no insurance for the car and it has now been seized.

Enquiries then lead to police carrying out a search under the Misuse of Drugs Act, resulting in the driver being arrested for an unrelated manner.
