AN unattended bonfire had to be extinguished by fire crews last night.
A fire crew from Broadway Fire Station put out the fire in the open in Bredon Crescent, Evesham after receiving a 999 call at 7.38pm.
A spokesperson for the Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said:
"An unattended bonfire, around 2m by 2m, was extinguished using one hosereel jet. There were no casualties and no other emergency services attended. The incident was marked as pending closure at 8.01pm."
