A "FATAL crash" has closed a major road this evening.
Motorists have been advised to avoid the A46 near the Twyford Island in Evesham and expect delays following a fatal crash just after 6pm this evening (Wednesday, August 30).
The road is closed at the roundabout while emergency services attend.

Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service declined to comment on the crash.
