FIREFIGHTERS were called to an Evesham house fire.
Two fire engines rushed to a house in Spinney Grove after a fire had started behind a kitchen unit.
Natural ventilation was used, and a thermal imaging camera was deployed to check for hot spots.
A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Two HWFR crews - one each from Evesham and Worcester Fire Stations – were called at 11.54pm on October 8 to a fire at a house in Spinney Grove, Evesham.
"The fire was located behind a kitchen unit and was fought by two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet.
"Natural ventilation was used, and a thermal imaging camera was deployed to check for hot spots.
"There were no casualties, and police also attended.
"The incident was marked as pending closure at 1.15pm."
