FAMILIES flocked to see a village that was invaded by scarecrows last weekend.

Feckenham residents welcomed families back to their village for the long-awaited return of their popular Scarecrow Weekend.

Roughly 1,500 people filled the small village as it finally returned last weekend (October 7 and 8) after a four-year gap due to covid.

The winner was Crowboy Builders, which featured four builders causing mischief around a garden.

One was hanging upside down from a ladder, another was drinking on the job, one was stuck in a hole, and the final one was falling out of a wheelbarrow.

For the first time this year, the group had organised for there to be a barbecue and a small bar to be part of the event.

There will also be games and novelties to keep the children entertained.

The villagers organise Feckenham Scarecrow Weekend, and all funds raised will go to the upkeep of the village.
