Organisers of the Tree of Light Campaign have thanked members of the public for their support.

Held by Rotary Club of Evesham, the event celebrated its 25th anniversary this year and reportedly exceeded expectations as it remembered lost loved ones.

The letter, authored by club Rotarian Jan Harris, began with its gratitude to its members for their work, with the collective effort resulting in another successful lighting ceremony.

Resourceful planning and logistics demanded considerable time and effort invested by the Rotary Club members.

A supplementary list of names is set to be published this week, with the update including missed items and corrections, and last-minute entries that were submitted after the cutoff date.

The organisers also said that a Book of Remembrance has been made available in the library.

Concurrently, an online list on the Tree of Light website features the names of the loved ones remembered.

The club has expressed its gratitude to its business sponsors, as well, whose resources allowed them to minimise costs and give more to various charities.

Those affiliated with charities that could profit from a donation facilitated by the Tree of Light Campaign are encouraged to get in touch.

Mrs Harris signed off on the note with a list of people remembered with a warm sentiment for the upcoming year 2024.
