A group of five cypress trees is to be chopped down in a street in Barbourne.
The trees are outside a property called The Dormey House. Large branches have fallen off, close to telephone lines and brick boundary walls.
Residents have twice “gone to great expense” to reduce” to reduce the height of the trees but have now decided it is best to fell them.
A planning application for tree works within a conservation area submitted in February has now been approved by Worcester City Council.
