Evesham Abbey will welcome Vikings, Normans and Medieval knights for a living history event.

The historic figures will set up camp in the town this weekend (May 18-19) from 10am to 5pm for Evesham Medieval Market & High-Medieval Living History.

The event will display the transformation of arms, armour, and life during High-Medieval period (1066-1485).

The two-day spectacle will feature re-enactments, medieval skills, crafts and practices along with over 130 stalls offering a variety of items.

The funds raised will go towards the Battle of Evesham Festival in August.
