A HARMONIOUS time was had by all as a singing group rolled back the years for a D-Day commemoration.
Three-part harmony group The Fireflies performed a selection of wartime songs at a village picnic at Cleeve Prior Primary School yesterday.
Jane Charles, from the group, said: "It was really nice to do our bit to commemorate D Day. It was a lovely day, the sun shone and they were a very warm and receptive audience."
The Fireflies set included White Cliffs of Dover, Dream a Little Dream and Boogy Woogy Bugal Boy.
The fun event also included children's games and a bar.
