The Evesham Angling Festival is set to return to Crown Meadow over August Bank Holiday weekend.

It will see anglers compete to be crowned the master of Evesham in the UK's premier river fishing competition.

The festival will feature three days of intense contests, including the Wychavon Championship, the Evesham Championship, and the Avon Teams Championship.

And it promises more than just fishing, with an array of food vendors, craft stalls, and angling stalls.

The organisers said it will be "a fantastic day out with plenty to see, taste, and explore" whether you’re a passionate angler or just love a great festival atmosphere.

The festival takes place from Saturday, August 29, to Monday, August 31.
